Program Description:

Imagine how much easier your job would be if people quit resisting your efforts to improve their working life and have them comply with expectations and regulations.

What if you applied the secrets top marketers and salespeople use to overcome resistance?

What if, instead of carrot-and-stick methods, or trying to appeal to logic, you tapped into their current motivation structures to lead them to and through the learning process?

How much easier would your life be?

Logically, we know why they would benefit from your program, and they may even rationally accept the benefits of learning, but they still have resistance and they lack true motivation. This is because it isn’t their rational brain that motivates them.

In our half-day together, we will begin by separating learning from motivation. We will also recognize that most people have conversations in their head, and that how the rational mind “speaks” is quite different from how the subconscious mind “speaks.” Then it’s only a matter of understanding the language patterns of the subconscious and soon you will find people eager to engage in the programs you create and develop.

Before we get to the fun phrases that allow us to slip past their resistance, we will address the issue of Self Hugging with a quick introduction to the 16 Core Desires (or WHYs), so that you will be able to craft your message in a manner that appeals to them instead of you.

And then we will dive into key phrases you can use to develop a desire to engage, stay engaged, and even remember and apply what they’ve learned. We will even take the time to begin crafting your persuasive phrases, so that you will be enjoy eager, smiling faces when you announce your next program.

You already know what they need to learn, and you’ve studied best practices, and now you’re ready to begin speaking to them in a way that motivates and engages. The only question remaining is when would now be the best time to sign up for Persuasive Phrases for Learning?

This is a hands-on workshop.
Participants will need to come ready to immediately apply what they learn in their corporate training and eLearning programs.
